You must have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and have at least one year of teaching experience. A regular personal practice is also required.
We recommend completing the components in order (Somatic Certification, Virtual Retreat, then Weekend Intensives) as they build upon each other. However, we understand scheduling conflicts may arise, and we can work with you to create a personalized timeline that fits your needs.
Somatic yoga integrates principles of somatic movement education with traditional yoga practices. It emphasizes internal awareness, nervous system regulation, and movement patterns that emerge from within rather than being imposed from outside. Our certification focuses specifically on nervous system regulation, somatic breathwork, and guided somatic journeys that help release chronic tension patterns and develop greater embodied intelligence.
Yes, our program is registered with Yoga Alliance as an advanced training. Upon completion, you'll be eligible to register as an RYT-500.
Cancellations made more than 60 days before the start date receive a full refund minus a $250 administrative fee. Cancellations within 30-60 days receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 30 days before the start date are non-refundable, but your payment can be applied to a future training within one year.
Yes, for part of it. The Somatic Yoga Certification (100 hours) is entirely virtual, so you can complete this component from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. However, the week-long retreat and the three weekend intensives are in-person experiences that require travel to our location.
For the virtual component, you'll need a reliable internet connection, a device with a camera (computer, tablet, or smartphone), and enough space to practice yoga (approximately the size of a yoga mat plus 2-3 feet around it). We recommend using headphones with a microphone for optimal audio quality during interactive sessions.
The week-long retreat and weekend intensives will be held at our studio location. Detailed information about the venue, accommodations, and travel recommendations will be provided upon registration.
Applications for our 2025 program are now open. Space is limited to ensure personalized attention and a transformative experience.
